Terms & Conditions

1. About NearQo

NearQo ("Platform", "we", "us") is a local-business showcase board run by NearQo, a micro enterprise registered in India under Udyam registration UDYAM-AS-24-0036084, with its registered address at 8, Purona Upopath, Taxiali, Sibsagar, Sivasagar, Assam 785640. The Platform allows businesses to display their details so that customers can discover and contact them directly. NearQo does not facilitate transactions, process orders, or act as a marketplace.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide — including your government-issued ID proof — is accurate and up to date.

3. Account & Listings

• Each account must represent a real, verifiable business or individual service provider.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Listing content (name, description, photos, pricing) must be truthful. We reserve the right to remove or suspend any listing that is misleading, offensive, or violates applicable law.
• NearQo may verify your identity using the uploaded ID proof before activating your account.

Events, movies and invitations

• Besides businesses, you can list an event (a show, concert, fair or workshop, with its date and venue), a movie release (with its release date), or an invitation (a wedding, engagement or other function).
• Event and movie listings are advertisements only. NearQo does not sell, reserve or deliver tickets, passes or seats, and does not collect any money for them. Visitors book directly with the organiser or through the organiser’s own booking link. Ticket prices shown are provided by the organiser, who is solely responsible for them, for the event taking place, and for any refund if it is changed or cancelled.
• You must have the right to promote the event or film you list (for example, as its organiser, promoter or venue).
• Event and invitation listings leave the board the day after their date, even if plan days remain; their link and QR code keep showing an “ended” page for about a week. Movie listings run for their plan period.
• Invitations are private by default: only people who have the invitation’s link or QR code can open it. You can choose to show an invitation publicly; you are responsible for the personal details (such as names, dates and the venue) you choose to publish.

4. Fees & Payment

• Listing fees are one-time, duration-based payments — there are no recurring subscriptions or auto-renewals.
• NearQo is not currently registered under GST, so no GST is charged on listing fees. If that changes, prices will include GST and it will be shown on your invoice.
• You receive an invoice by email for every payment; it is also available under My Account → Payments.
• You must buy a plan before posting a listing. Every listing, and every edit to a live listing, is reviewed by our team before it appears; the listing period counts from the approval date.
• NearQo currently serves India only. Prices are in Indian rupees (₹), and you can pay by UPI, debit/credit card or net banking through our payment partner Cashfree.
• Plan perks: live listings on some plans are shown higher on the board (Agency, then Shop, then Standard); Boosted listings always come first. Listings on the Annual plan show a “✓ Verified pro” badge, which means the owner’s identity document has been checked by our team — it is not an endorsement of the business’s work or prices.
• Events and movies use their own Event & movie promotion plans. Business plans can be used for businesses and invitations.
• Launch offer — free trial: one business listing, live for 2 days from approval, free of charge. It is limited to one per person, checked against the email address and mobile number. It is not available for events, movies or invitations. We may end the offer at any time, and may refuse or remove a trial that is misused (for example, through duplicate accounts).
• The listing fee is the only charge. NearQo takes no commission — no percentage or share — of any money you earn from customers who find you through NearQo. Browsing and contacting businesses is free for visitors.

5. Intellectual Property

All content you upload (photos, descriptions, logos) remains your property. By uploading it, you grant NearQo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Platform for the duration of your listing.

The NearQo name, logo, and UI design are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

6. Prohibited Content

You may not list anything that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes on a third party's rights. This includes but is not limited to counterfeit goods, regulated substances, and discriminatory services.

7. Limitation of Liability

NearQo is a showcase platform. We do not guarantee any business outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NearQo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account by contacting support. Refunds, and plans that go back to your account, are covered by our Refund & Cancellation policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sivasagar, Assam.
